I work by a simple principle — do what makes the most sense. I prefer natural light and natural settings, but in the end we're both here for the image, so I respond to whatever the moment needs.
About
The name comes from home.
Photo Yenesu is named after the small town where I grew up. It had just one photo studio — the first "house of photos" in town — and in Amharic, yenesu simply means "take pictures." It holds my earliest memory of having my own photo taken as a child. I love the nostalgia in that.
I've spent nearly half my adult life behind the camera. I'm a woman, a mother, and a photographer — and I'd love to work with you on portraits, fashion, modeling, or brand collaborations.
